What makes a holiday great? The sea of course... And we have that!
And the opportunity to do, know and discover, and we can offer you a whole range of opportunities so you can enjoy your holiday to the full.
There are a number of options, from a simple motor boat or sailing boat trip to the coasts of Alghero to a trip to the Park of Porto Conte to discover its amazing sea beds and inlets.
Surely the most spectacular of the various options is the trip on the Andrea Jensen, a traditional wooden sailing boat: spend a day at sea, in the company of a friendly, helpful crew, with the chance to meet dolphins and shoals of tuna fish along the way.
We mustn't forget the Wind Sardinya Sail nautical charter that specializes in the hire of sailing boats, with or without a skipper that organizes visits to the Asinara Park and romantic sailing trips under the stars, in the bay of Alghero.
You can also hire dinghies in the hotel, with or without a driver.
Mountain bikes can be hired directly from the hotel for simple bicycle rides around the city or along the trails immersed in the surrounding pine-wood, or even as far as the nearest beaches. For the most enthusiastic cyclists, the "Mountain Bike Porto Conte Escursioni" also organises guided tours with instructors from the Italian Mountain Bike School, including the hire of the necessary equipment.
It is also possible to go horse riding to the sea, lake and countryside, just a few kilometres from the Hotel, where there is one of the most active horse riding centres for Horse Riding Tourism, the " Tre Stelle Sa Mandra " near Porto Ferro beach, a popular destination for horse rides, which you come to along enchanting trails that lead through the dense Mediterranean scrub....

We have been working directly with diving experts for years. Alghero, Porto Conte and Capo Caccia are just a few of the references, which denote the importance of the landscape of the location of the Capo Galera Diving Center, in the middle of the protected marine area of Capo Caccia. The centre is set in a majestic villa with a sheer drop to the sea; a Cressi-sub test centre, a well-known 14 metre Aprea boat and a BWA 740 dinghy can offer diving for both beginners and sub experts, with the possibility of choosing from the walls and countless caves that open up beneath the impressive cliffs of Punta Giglio and Capo Caccia. Diving in the protected marine area guarantees intense emotions, besides offering the chance to see the red coral, typical of the area, even at a depth of 5 metres. The Capo Galera Diving Center is also an ESA college that offers scuba diving courses from the first level to instructor level, as well as an Apnea Academy centre.
Alghero means the sea, the "Grotte di Nettuno" (Neptune's Caves), the historical centre, the Palmavera nuraghe, as well as other places, but it wouldn't be complete without a visit to the marvellous surrounding hills and sheer coastlines. There are numerous fascinating trails where you can admire the Mediterranean flora and fauna and amazing scenery that no postcard could ever do justice. Follow the guides with TREKKING ALGHERO's amazing tours who will reveal the deepest secrets of our flora and fauna. Fun is guaranteed.

Jeep or Quad Tours are organised for everyone, from groups of friends, couples and families, to children and the not so young, so that one can discover the beautiful views of the North-West coast of Sardinia: from the roadstead in Alghero to the Bay of Porto Conte and the dunes of Porto Ferro. The Alghero Jeep Safari organised by SardinianDiscovery.com is surely one of the most breathtaking safaris.
