The Porto Conte Nature Park
The Hotel Punta Negra is located inside the Porto Conte Park that goes from Fertilia to Capo Caccia and home to the famous Neptune Grottoes. Covering some 5350 hectares and 60km of coastline, it was considered “One of the loveliest parts of the world” by the great naturalist Jacques Cousteau.

The areas and the routes
The Park is divided into 4 zones, each with its own environmental value: Zone A - full nature reserve, Zone B – oriented nature reserve, Zone C – protected area and Zone D – economic and social promotion area. The tour of the regional park goes over trails and is organized by the Park Direction together with the Sardinian Forest Council, which manages the environmental patrimony of the Park and the public forest complex. There are 4 different routes:
The Hotel Punta Negra is the first hotel to be awarded the Environmental Quality seal from the Parks and Protected Areas network.
